The conversion of a bedroom into a guest bathroom offered not only good space, but minimal storage demands – a rare opportunity indeed.
The existing bay window dictated the freestanding bath placement.
Construction of thickened wall sections created storage niches each side of a feature tiled alcove between the toilet and shower areas, as well as concealing the cistern and plumbing. The shaped frameless glass shower screen connects a middle-of-room bench seat, facilitating the drying area.
Exaggeratedly long solid timber benches are supported by tile ‘blocks’ and hold the basin, storage baskets & containers, and the off-set mirror.
